Digital Millennium Copyright Act Compliance

Copyright Policy

Muviz respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA").

Our Role

Muviz is a search and indexing service that provides links to content hosted on third-party platforms, primarily Telegram. We do not host, store, or upload any copyrighted content on our servers. We merely provide a search interface to help users discover publicly available content on Telegram.

Muviz Player pages also do not host or proxy media. Player links embed or point to user-provided third-party URLs, including YouTube links and direct media links submitted by users.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content indexed by our service infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. To be effective, your notice must include the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing (with sufficient detail to locate it)
  • Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email address)
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

What Happens After You Submit a Notice

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content from our search index
  • Disable matching user-created player links where applicable
  • Make a good faith effort to contact the user who posted the content
  • Document the notice for our records

Counter-Notification

If you believe that content you posted was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification. The counter-notification must include similar information as the original notice, along with a statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed by mistake or misidentification.

Repeat Infringers

We have a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are repeat infringers of copyrights.

Important Note: We are not the content host. For the fastest resolution, we recommend contacting the actual content host (typically Telegram channels/groups or the submitted player source URL host) directly. We can only remove links from our search index or disable player pages, not the actual content itself.
